Jack Dunbar, founder of Dunbar Bagpipes, apprenticed for Henderson Bagpipes in the 1930s. When Jack immigrated to Canada, he brought with him the knowledge of Henderson specs and tooling. His decision was to make his bagpipes in the Henderson tradition, with a few minor tweaks. Established in 1967, Dunbar Bagpipes's has a wealth of experience in making bagpipes and supplying a quality instrument.

Dunbar P1 Bagpipes are plain-turned Polypenco, with chalice top design. Polypenco bagpipes are extremely resilient to adverse weather conditions, and produce a robust, full sound. Price is Sticks Only, with fully customizable options.
